Rise & Shine, a popular breakfast networking club for small and medium-sized businesses in Guernsey, is returning after a four-year hiatus.
Founded by two Guernsey businesswomen, Anne Jenkins and Julie Todd, the club ceased when Mrs Todd relocated to Jersey.
However, she has now returned to Guernsey and the two women, following requests from previous attendees, have brought the monthly breakfast event back.
Julie said: “If you’re looking for an enjoyable forum to make new business contacts or to bring clients to, then the Rise & Shine breakfast club is the ideal forum for you.
“At each of our monthly meetings we have a guest speaker and we aim to cover a variety of topical business issues. The meetings are light-hearted making for an easy and relaxed atmosphere to nurture new business contacts. “
Anne continued: “The style of Rise & Shine is unpressured and guests can mingle and chat at their own pace and in a way they feel most comfortable
“Previous attendees include architects, IT and digital workers, fitness professionals, PR consultants, builders, mortgage brokers and self-employed beauty therapists. Julie and I always ensure everyone is relaxed and comfortable and we know from feedback that some excellent business has resulted from attending the event.”
Rise & Shine will take place on the first Tuesday of each month, from 7.45am to 9.15am, commencing on Tuesday 5 November 2019.
The duo has returned to the same venue, Muse Café in Glategny Esplanade, St Peter Port.
