Peter Blandin has been sworn in as a Jersey Solicitor. He divides his time at Le Gallais and Luce between the Family Law and Litigation teams
Peter (pictured) graduated with an Upper Second-Class honours LLB degree in Law from Nottingham Trent University Law School in 2003 and joined Le Gallais & Luce in 2016.
Advocate Matthew Godden, head of the family law and litigation department said, “We are really pleased for Peter to have passed his Jersey Law exams to become a Jersey Solicitor. It is a great personal achievement for him, and his new qualification will further strengthen the Le Gallais & Luce Family and Litigation teams. Peter is a valued member of a team whose aim is to provide a personal service to all of our clients.”
Outside of work Peter plays badminton and has represented the island. He is an avid football fan and season ticketholder with the Jersey Bulls, preferring the passion of local football rather than the glamour of premier league.
In response to his qualification Peter said, “I am extremely pleased to have passed the qualifying examinations and to have been accepted by the Royal Court as a Jersey Solicitor/Ecrivain. I am grateful to Le Gallais & Luce for their support and proud to be added to the long list of those who have qualified whilst working at the firm over its 93-year history.
“I look forward to solidifying my reputation as an Ecrivain/Solicitor going forward and continuing to offer the very best service to all clients whilst enhancing the reputation of both Le Gallais & Luce and the profession as a whole.”
