Voisin Law announced that the partners of LWR Law, Marian Whittaker and Angela Roscouet, have joined their team.
Both Mrs Whittaker and Miss Roscouet are well known, experienced advocates.
Marian, who is joining the firm as a consultant, was the third female advocate in the Island having been called to the Jersey Bar in 1977. She is widely known as a leading practitioner in family law. As a private client practitioner she also specialises in estate planning and capacity-related matters.
Angela qualified more than 30 years ago and also concentrates on non-contentious private client work, particularly estate planning and property transactions. She has experience in all aspects of private client and commercial work including leases, acting for the tenant and the landlord, the acquisition of businesses, licensing matters, personal injury work, family work and general litigation.
Voisin Law Managing Partner Ian Strang said: “We are delighted that Marian and Angela are joining our growing team, particularly as for Marian it is a return home to the firm where she qualified that she qualified at. Both bring a wealth of experience with them and we look forward to welcoming them and their clients.
“LWR Law has a long-established local heritage and for us as one of the oldest law firms in Jersey, the new additions are a perfect fit.”
LWR Law is the successor firm of the merged practices of Lempriere Whittaker Renouf (formed from the sole practices of Advocates Raoul Lempriere and Richard Renouf) and Jenners.
