Orchard, a Channel Islands-based PR and communications agency, is celebrating after being recognised with a Mark of Excellence in the Small PR Consultancy of the Year category at the CIPR Excellence Awards 2023.
The Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) is the industry body for public relations and communications and its Excellence Awards reward the best agencies, practitioners and campaigns from across the UK
Orchard was awarded a Mark of Excellence in its category, reflecting its work and performance over the past 18 months. Recipients were chosen based on the decision of 60 established PR professionals.
Orchard’s growth and success is attributed to the agency’s strategic framework, which has a focus on team wellbeing and professionalism, creating client impact with prominent campaigns, and positioning the agency as trusted advisors.
The team welcomed new members in 2023, including the appointment of its first-ever Jersey-based employee, providing a permanent presence across the Channel Islands for the first time.
Managing Director (Client Services) Brooke Kenyon said: “We’re overwhelmed to receive the Mark of Excellence. Industry recognition at national level has always been our goal and a key indicator of our creativity and influence – the award reflects our team’s collective hard work and the way we continue to uphold the highest standards for our brilliant clients.”
Managing Director (Operations) Chris Chilton added: “This award recognises the effort everyone in the agency has put in over recent years to make Orchard a great place to work. I’m confident it will add to our motivation to continue driving the agency forward adapting to the many challenges and opportunities we encounter as a creative business.”
The awards ceremony was held at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, London on Wednesday 28 June and the MC was comedian Lucy Porter.
The news completes a successful month for Orchard, as the agency also received a Silver and Bronze award from Citywealth’s Brand Management and Reputation Awards and the Diversity and Inclusion Award at the PRCA Dare awards for the Southwest.
