Channel Islands PR and communications agency Orchard has been shortlisted for the first time in the Small PR Consultancy of the Year category in the industry’s prestigious CIPR Excellence Awards.
These national awards recognise the phenomenal work of public relations practitioners from all around the globe. Judged by a panel of 60 respected industry experts; entries are measured on innovation and implementation of creative ideas, alongside evidence of financial performance, staff and client retention and the creation of impactful campaigns.
Orchard enjoyed another successful year in 2022; growing their client base, activating impactful campaigns, and developing their team. The start of 2023 saw the agency expand with the introduction of its first Jersey-based employee.
Managing director, client services Brooke Kenyon said: “Our ambition from the very beginning was to aim high, and benchmark ourselves against the very best agencies in the industry. To say I am proud of our team is an understatement. Seeing the hard work, drive, and dedication of everyone at Orchard result in national recognition is something of a dream for us.
“We always relish the opportunity to place Guernsey firmly on the PR map globally, and demonstrate the capacity there is on the island to do award-winning work for our clients.”
Managing director, operations Chris Chilton added: “Previously our brilliant team has celebrated regional awards success with both the CIPR and PRCA, but achieving this shortlist for an award on a national level is reflective not only of all the great work our team does each day, but of our year-on-year growth, our solid business strategy, and our commitment to delivering impact for clients.”
The Excellence Awards are run by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, and the ceremony will take place at The Royal Lancaster in London on 28 June 2023.
