Oi, the marketing agency with offices in Guernsey and Jersey, has been acquired by David Hitchcock OBE.
The new owners, David Hitchcock (shown in the main picture) and his team have existing business and partnerships within the Channel Islands.
Peter Grange started the agency 17 years ago, with Oi providing innovative marketing and creative services to a varied global clientele. During that time it has grown to become a leading agency in the Channel Islands and has won numerous international marketing awards.
Peter commented: “After much consideration I have decided to exit Oi to pursue new ventures. Oi’s new owners possess over 30 years of experience in the marketing and advertising industry, with businesses operating between Guernsey, Jersey and London.
“The acquisition team are the perfect candidates to carry on the great work, adding stability whilst retaining and building on relationships. The team looks forward to expanding the business over the coming years. They also bring a strong management and corporate governance team. The future of Oi is incredibly exciting and I look forward to seeing its continued growth and success.”
Jamie Moyes explained: “There is a wealth of talent on the islands which we’re simply in awe of. The heart of this agency is the employees and ensuring their growth and reward is our focus. We’re really excited to share our business offering with Guernsey, Jersey and the global market.”
Jonny Welch added: “This is a superb opportunity to build on the existing client relationships and evolve the business by adding our teams of specialists and additional services, including greater digital support, PR, and much more. We love everything about the Islands – the environment, the people and the pace. We can’t wait to work with clients.”
With a new office location in Guernsey (and Jersey), the agency is looking forward to showcasing the space, designed to be a hub of creative and strategic innovation and also the base for its pan-island full service marketing business.
