Ocorian, a provider of corporate and fiduciary services, fund administration and capital markets, has been recognised for its impact in the private client sector at the Ninth Annual WealthBriefing MENA Awards 2022.
Ocorian was awarded the ‘Best Family Office Service Provision’ at the event showcasing ‘best of breed’ in the MENA region.
Each of these categories is highly contested and is subject to a rigorous process before the ultimate winner is selected by the judges. It is this process that makes WealthBriefing awards so prized amongst winners.
The WealthBriefing MENA Awards are part of a global programme run by WealthBriefing and its sister publications WealthBriefingAsia and Family Wealth Report, encompassing all of the world’s major wealth management centres.
Participants around the world recognise that winning awards is particularly important in these challenging times as it gives clients reassurance in the solidity and sustainability of the winner’s business and operating model.
Commenting on the firm’s triumph Michael Betley, Global Head of Private Clients at Ocorian said: “The award is testament to the hard work of our people and teams and their commitment to supporting clients and continuing to grow our business. We invest in our people at all levels and at all stages in their careers; we empower our teams to deliver the industry-leading service levels that this most recent award recognises”
Lynda O’Mahoney, Global Head of Business Development – Private Client remarked: “We are committed to the MENA region and have been servicing families for several years. Our team has been very present and has endeavoured to work hand in hand with families to look at suitable private client structuring solutions for their regional and international assets. Our global presence has allowed us to be jurisdiction agnostic thereby providing a tailor-made solution to families.”
Nina Auchoybur, Managing Director – UAE Private Client added: “The family office concept has evolved in the last few years. There has been a paradigm shift in the way families administer their wealth and how it is passed on to the next generation. Ocorian has proven to be a valuable partner in this journey helping clients to navigate the web of local laws and regulations, understanding the options available to structure local assets and practicalities. Our dedicated team of professionals not only assists but adds value.”
ClearView Financial Media’s CEO, and Publisher of WealthBriefing, Stephen Harris, was first to extend his congratulations to all the winners. He said: “The organisations and individuals who triumphed in these awards are all worthy winners, and I would like to extend my heartiest congratulations to the winners and to those who have put so much work into each winning submission.
“These awards were independently and expertly judged solely on the basis of entrants’ submissions and their response to a number of specific questions, which were answered by focusing on the client experience rather than purely quantitative performance metrics. That is a unique, and I believe, compelling feature. These awards recognise the very best operators in MENA wealth management, with ‘independence’, ‘integrity’ and ‘genuine insight’ the watchwords of the judging process – such that the awards truly reflect excellence in MENA wealth management.”
Ocorian has more than 50 years’ experience of servicing the needs of private clients helping to protect, preserve and plan for their wealth now and in the future with offices with offices across the world.
