Ocorian has enjoyed remarkable success at this year’s Citywealth Powerwomen Awards, walking away with five trophies, including three golds.
The Awards, which were held on Wednesday 4 March in London, were created to recognise individuals and companies who maximise the potential of women in wealth.
Ocorian CEO Farah Ballands scooped two awards – gold in the Woman of the Year, Leadership, Financial Organisation (CEO, Board Member) category, and silver in Woman of the Year, Business Growth (Large, Institutional).
Lisa Mclauchlan, Group Business Development Director (pictured), picked up gold in the Woman of the Year, Business Services (Large, Institutional) category, and Michelle Tring, Trust Director, received a Bronze award in Woman of the Year, Future Leaders (Partner, Director).
Ocorian as a business also claimed gold in the Best Employer, Career Progression category.
The awards come shortly after the recent merger of Ocorian and Estera, which created a global leader in corporate and fiduciary services, fund administration and capital markets, managing over 17,000 structures on behalf of more than 8,000 clients.
Farah Ballands, CEO of Ocorian, commented: “We wholeheartedly endorse the principles behind the Powerwomen Awards and as a newly merged business will continue to champion women in the workplace. Whilst my colleagues and I are honoured to be recognised by our peers, it was especially thrilling for Ocorian to pick up an award for the work it puts into advancing women’s careers.”
