Michael Betley, Ocorian’s Global Head of Private Client, has once again been named in the 2024 eprivateclient 50 Most Influential list – the definitive ranking of the key players in the UK and global offshore private client practitioner sector.
The aim of the listing is to identify, recognise, promote and introduce the leading practitioners of the private client profession and shows the breadth and depth of talent at the forefront of the industry today. Those that have made it onto the list are the leaders when it comes to providing the best possible advice and service for clients. They also drive innovation to meet the needs of wealthy individuals.
Michael (pictured) joined Ocorian in November 2021 when it acquired Trust Corporation International, which he co-founded in 2003. He assists wealthy families and financial institutions in developing wealth management and estate planning strategies. Michael is responsible for managing the global private client businesses and retains some client relationships which include sitting on the boards of private trust companies, investments funds and representing family interests as a protector.
The 50 individuals were selected by PAM Insight’s judges with achievements, promotions and progress potential in the past 12 months considered alongside their reputations. As well as this judging process an open call for nominations was made to eprivateclient readers, and names put forward by this process were also considered.
