Oak Group has announced several key appointments to support parent company, Opera’s five-year strategic plan called Project Overture.

Strategic communications

Hannah Maden-Adams has joined Oak as M&A Communications Manager on a six-month contract. Based in Jersey, Hannah brings over 18 years’ experience in
communications and change management, having held senior roles with the Government of Jersey, Bailiff’s Chambers and States Assembly.

She will work closely with both the Commercial and People & Culture teams, headed up by Kate Finlayson, Chief Commercial Officer and Anna Sauvarin, Chief People Officer. Her role will focus on aligning messaging across the business, setting high communication standards and ensuring clarity and consistency in how Oak tells its transformation story under Project Overture.

Growth in the Transformation and Technology teams

Oak has also expanded its Transformation team with the following recent appointments in Jersey:

  • Jake Willis, Programme Manager, FTC
  • Luke Kellett, Programme Manager, FTC
  • Katie Dix, Senior Programme Manager, FTC
  • Jemima Houze, Business Analyst
  • Michael Raphael, Data Analyst

The team is led by Jibran Ahmed, Chief Operating Officer, and Will O’Dwyer, Transformation Lead, who recently outlined their vision in an article on driving
transformation.

Additionally, the Technology team has expanded with the appointment of:

  • Wesley Nell, Technology Solutions Manager in Jersey
  • Raginee Sooklall, Data Engineer in Mauritius
  • Fabrice Reine de Carthage, Service Desk Analyst in Mauritius

Anna Sauvarin, Chief People Officer commented: “Project Overture is our blueprint for transformation, and it’s brought into focus by the people we bring along on the journey. Every one of these new joiners brings skills, experience, and energy that align with our ambition to build a world-class financial services group.

“From communications to transformation delivery and technology, these appointments reflect the strength of the leadership team that’s shaping Oak’s future. It’s exciting to see such talent joining us at a time of real momentum.”
