Paul Schreibke has been appointed Managing Director of Oak Group’s private client and corporate services business in Guernsey, subject to regulatory approval.
Previously Managing Director at Intertrust, he joins the business with more than 30 years’ experience in the taxation, trust and corporate sectors.
In his new role, Mr Schreibke will provide input into the company’s strategy as Oak continues to grow both organically and by further acquisitions. He will be involved in integrating new teams as the business evolves and will specifically work with employees in Guernsey to support their development.
“Oak is a locally-owned business with global ambitions and I’m excited to be joining the group at such a critical phase of its development,” said Mr Schreibke.
“The team at Oak put relationships first which enables them to understand and anticipate client needs and they continually exceed expectations by providing a high level of efficiency and service. The group is aiming to become the trusted provider of financial services to institutional and private clients in the markets it operates in and I will be working with the team to realise this goal.”
Mr Schreibke is a Chartered Tax Advisor, a member of STEP and he was included in eprivateclient’s 50 most influential UK private client practitioners list.
Oak Group’s Chief Executive Officer, Stuart Platt-Ransom, said: “Our clients are our focus and the relationships we build with them underpin everything we do. We’re proud of our people-led culture and commitment to ensure our clients receive a quality, personal and cost-effective service. With Paul’s expertise we will continue delivering on this as we grow the business internationally and clients can benefit from our global reach in the future.”
