Guernsey’s HSC has announced that nominations are welcome for the Bailiwick Carer, Nurse and Midwife of the Year awards.
Nursing in 2018 is a modern and dynamic profession. The roles are varied and skills vast, so to mark Nurses Day on the 10th May 2018 they want to say thank you. Following a day celebrating Guernsey’s carers, nurses and midwives, the winners will be provided with awards at a dedicated ceremony.
Professor Juliet Beal, Chief Nurse said:
“This is the third year HSC has run these awards. Everyday carers, nurses and midwifes around the world go the extra mile for their patients. This is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the outstanding work carried out by carers, nurses and midwives in the Bailiwick.”
Do you know someone who deserves to be recognised for their outstanding contribution and care? Nominations are welcome from patients, family and staff members.
Nomination forms are available at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital, from community nurses or can be downloaded from www.gov.gg/awards
The winners will be announced on May 10 2018.
Nominations should be returned by post to Emma Walton, HSC, Le Vauquiedor Office, St Andrews, Guernsey, GY6 8TW or by email: [email protected] by 13 April 2018.
