Managed service providers Next Generation IT and Alternative Solutions are merging, subject to regulatory approval, to form a full-service IT service provider in the Channel Islands, called Clarity Limited.
The new firm will be headquartered in Guernsey and will also operate from offices in Jersey and Romania to support clients in the Channel Islands, the UK and further afield.
These local IT businesses already have a reputation as trusted service providers for many Channel Island businesses. The combined strength and depth of expertise achieved through this merger will create a managed service provider focused on the Channel Islands with the purpose of ‘Making IT simple’.
Clarity will be run by the executive team of Jason Connolly, Matt Hale, Tom Heyworth and Matthew Neville, and headed by Chief Executive Officer Neil Jordan. Together they bring over 100 years of experience in IT service provision with knowledge of cyber security, business transformation, cloud computing, IT support, hosting and project management.

Alternative Solutions Limited was established in 1986 and Next Generation Limited in 2003. The merged company, Clarity Limited, will operate across Guernsey, Jersey and Romanian offices employing 80+ people with revenues exceeding £13m.
