Monday 16 April was the start of a new journey for Jersey’s Tourist Information Centre (TIC) which is now operating within St Helier’s Liberation Bus Station.
The Tourist Information Centres provide visitors with the opportunity to experience and explore more while on holiday.
The role of Tourist Information Centres has evolved over the years and have now become an integral part of the tourism process. This evolved approach makes Tourist Information Centres valuable to both the local community and visitors.
Following the recent relocation of the Tourist Information Centre to Liberation Bus Station visitors will be provided with “hidden gems” and “insider information” to ensure they leave #theislandbreak with lasting memories to share.
Kevin Hart, Director of Liberty Bus said: “We were really excited about the doors opening and greeting our first customers in the new TIC. Our vision is that we want to make every visit to Jersey special, and our team are on hand to greet visitors with our award-winning customer service, in a fantastic location. Our team are all really passionate about what Jersey has to offer and can’t wait to share the story of #theislandbreak.”
LibertyBus is working in partnership with visit Jersey, and the TIC will provide visitors, throughout the year, with improved access to on-island information. It’s a one-stop shop for visitors to start their journey of discovery. The team will inspire visitors to explore the real heart of Jersey and share hidden gems to leave visitors with lasting memories.
