Guernsey Chamber’s new President Barrie Baxter was formally elected on Wednesday night at the AGM.
He has stated his intentions to reshape the organisation and make it the ‘go to’ place for all forms of business advice and support during his two-year term.
The organisation is changing in structure and will move to more central premises as part of the focus on ensuring that it is highly visible, strongly representative and impressively active for existing and new members.
Barrie, who moved to the island three years ago, has been doing business in Guernsey for a decade and has a strong track record in entrepreneurial projects at an international level.
He has issued an open invitation for people to find out more about Guernsey Chamber and the plans for its future.
