Ocorian’s Sarah Bartram-Lora Reina, Executive Director within its Private Client team has been elected as President of the Jersey Association of Trust Companies (JATCo) at their recent Annual General Meeting.
Sarah explained: “I have been an active committee member for a number of years and relish this opportunity to contribute further to the wider industry as President of JATCo.
“As an organisation that represents the majority of trust companies in the island of Jersey, this is an opportunity to represent our members’ interests to government and financial services regulators and lead the way in providing safe and sophisticated fiduciary services for clients.”
Paul Butel, Managing Director, Private Client, Ocorian who serves alongside Sarah as an active JATCo committee member added: “This election is well deserved. Sarah has been a hard-working, active JATCo member for a number of years and has served as Vice President for the last two. In her role as President she will continue to play an important public and industry role in relation to new and ongoing professional standards.”
