Gaudin and Company, a local residential and commercial estate agency and property management business has announced recent changes to its ownership due to the departure of Jane Power, who has retired from the business after 27 years.
Nick Jewell has acquired Mrs Power’s shareholding and joined the business after a career with local Government, latterly as Head of Governance and Resource Management for Children, Young People, Education and Skills.
Bradley Vowden, partner, who joined the business in 2006 commented: “I am delighted that Nick has joined us. His experience in risk and compliance, property and contract management, landlord/tenant agreements and health and safety make him the perfect person to join our team.
“We are already seeing the benefit of his expertise, focus on developing our team and client service. This is a very exciting time and I am looking forward to what the future brings as we continue to develop and differentiate our business in the local market place.”
Nick Jewell commented: “This is a really exciting opportunity and very different environment for me after 34 years of working for the Government. I’m very much enjoying applying transferable skills, learning new ones and working with the great team at Gaudin.”
