The Little Green Energy Company, a provider of renewable energy solutions in the Channel Islands, has made new appointments at its helm.
Significant business growth over the last three years has seen the need to broaden the leadership team and drive the continued growth of the company. CEO Bob Beebe will become Non-Executive Chairman of the Board, with Ben Le Huray being appointed as Managing Director.
Mr Beebe said: “I’m delighted to be continuing my journey of 48 years in the energy industry, taking on the role of Chairman of the Little Green Board of Directors as we move into our next phase of growth. I am also very pleased to announce the appointment of Ben Le Huray as the new Managing Director of Little Green. Ben will lead us on that journey as the marketplace develops.”
Mr Le Huray brings substantial commercial and technical experience from his senior roles at Guernsey Ports, AFM and Specsavers. He commented: “The Little Green Energy Company’s mission is to expedite the on-island generation of clean, sustainable power. We believe this embodies the type of future that islanders are seeking for themselves and for the community. We see it as our role to ensure that investing in renewable energy solutions makes good financial and environmental sense for islanders. Put simply, we must make it accessible for all types of property and land owners.”
“I’d like to thank Bob for his stewardship over the last few years and his continued contribution and Counsel from the Board whilst also contributing his significant technical expertise.” said co-founder Ian Walker “Little Green has an exceptional leadership team to move onto our next stage of growth to facilitate Guernsey’s energy transition.”
