Local charity Brighter Futures has appointed Sarah Nibbs as its Fundraising, Events and Partnerships Manager.
Previously, Sarah (pictured) was an Ambassador for Brighter Futures, speaking about its work at various events, to raise the charity’s profile.
Brighter Futures supports 170 families at any one time, focusing on positive parent and child relationships. It costs the charity £4,400 to support one family for a year, using its research and evidence-based programmes, which are provided free of charge to clients.
Sarah has returned to Jersey to take up the role after four years in London, where she worked as a marketing and business development manager, as well as with a homelessness charity during lockdown, when she was a project worker for clients with complex needs.
Sarah said: “It’s exciting to be back in Jersey, and my role is to ensure that we continue to raise vital funds for the families we support, by creating memorable events and meaningful corporate partnerships. I’m looking forward to working with businesses and organisations, and all those who share our vision to ensure that every family in Jersey can have a brighter future.”
