Three Brain Training, a business aimed at confronting chronic stress and burnout with professionals, has launched in Guernsey.
Recent neuroscientist research has uncovered that humans’ have a functional and complex set of neural networks in our hearts and guts as well as our heads. With more than 20 years of experience, Andre Duquemin, founder of Three Brain Training, has utilised his neuroscience knowledge to train business owners, directors and leaders on how and why we need to care for ‘three brains’ instead of one.
Andre said: “Most professionals believe the brain acts as the CEO of the rest of the body. Research has identified that this isn’t the case, and instead, our hearts and guts can gather, process, store and act upon information via their own nervous systems.
“This research doesn’t only change how we choose to live our lives, but also how professionals operate in the workplace. Our business and government leaders are dealing with incredibly stressful situations and a huge amount of responsibility on a daily basis, and they must understand how each ‘brain’ plays a role in our lives – and just what they can do to bring each one into balance.”
Andre has a wealth of experience in the health, psychology and neuroscience industries and has undergone specific training to coach those in professional services.
“Neuroscience isn’t a topic that professionals need fear. Research in the Channel Islands states one-third of professionals do not feel they can cope with the current levels of stress and job demands. These professionals must be given the tools to manage their stress and understand what their body tells them,” he added.
Three Brain Training, which was launched in 2021 and aims to support leaders across the Crown Dependencies and the UK.
