Jaro, a new art gallery is to open in Jersey on 8th September.
Nestled at 1 York Street in St. Helier, Jaro Gallery promises to ‘redefine the local art landscape, acting as a platform that connects Jersey artists to the world while inviting internationally acclaimed creators to share their works with the island’.
Jaro Gallery is the brainchild of Jasmine-Rose Noel, a gallery owner with a background in artist development and representation spanning seven years. No stranger to curating captivating exhibitions, Jasmine-Rose’s influence has stretched across Switzerland, Portugal, and London with a series of pop-up showcases for art enthusiasts worldwide.
Jasmine-Rose is poised to work closely with five local artists, providing them with the resources, exposure, and mentorship they need to flourish beyond the island’s borders.
This artistic venture is not limited by geographical boundaries; renowned emerging artists from London, America, and Europe will also grace Jaro Gallery’s walls, creating a dynamic cultural exchange.
“The art world knows no boundaries, and Jaro Gallery is our answer to bridging the gap between Jersey’s artistic talent and the global stage,” says Jasmine-Rose, the driving force behind this endeavor. “We are here to provide a space where creativity knows no bounds and where artists and collectors alike can embark on a journey of discovery and appreciation.”
The inaugural exhibition will showcase the brilliance of Jersey’s local talent, featuring luminaries like Jason Butler and street artist of the moment Bluntroller.
This collection will also host work from internationally acclaimed artists, such as the enigmatic Opake Manuela Knaut.
