The Harbour Gallery in St Aubin is launching a ‘Never Too Old Club’ for over 60s to meet up over tea and cake, and to try arts and crafts.
Starting on Tuesday 20th September (and continuing every Tuesday), between 1pm and 4pm, local people who are over 60 are invited to the Harbour Gallery in St Aubin to get-together with new and old friends, relax over a cup of tea and a cake, and try their hand at new arts and crafts.
Regardless of whether you are new to crafting or have been crafting for a lifetime, the ‘Never Too Old Club’ encourages people who are over 60 to get involved and get crafty! Whether you’re a secret artist or just wanting to try a completely new hobby, this is a chance to socialise with other like-minded folk in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere – and it’s all completely free.
There will be visiting artists attending to provide support and inspiration, and some weeks there will be live music.
The Harbour Gallery Jersey is managed by Jersey charity Art in the Frame Foundation. It is the largest exhibiting, working and selling art and craft gallery in Jersey and the Channel Islands. The Jersey Community Foundation are providing support to enable the ‘Never Too Old Club’ to take place.
If you have any questions or want to book your place, please send an email to [email protected], call 07797 736034 or just turn up on a Tuesday afternoon to the Harbour Gallery Jersey, Le Boulevard, St Aubin.
