Students at Vale Primary School have received a selection of brand new books as part of its Book Corners Project, an initiative sponsored by the Medical Specialist Group.
The project aims to inspire children to love reading inside and outside of the school environment.
MSG consultant paediatrician Sarra Ahmed visited the school to see the new books set up in each classroom.
She said: “Encouraging children to read from a young age is known to have a positive impact on cognitive development and is also a great way of learning about the world around them and how they fit into it.
“We’re very pleased to be sponsoring this initiative and I hope the students enjoy these wonderful new books.”
