The Medical Specialist Group has partnered with local software provider Troupa to support its digital transformation plans.
Troupa, a project management software platform that improves project governance, will allow the MSG to have an overview across all its projects, facilitating decision making and improving team collaboration. The software has a wide range of features, making it easy to track and report on risks, actions, resources, schedules, budgets and other key project information.
Transformation specialist Donna Le Tissier, who joined the MSG earlier this year to lead their transformation programme, said: “We’re in an exciting period of development for the MSG with many projects on the go to enable us to deliver greater value for money and enhanced services for islanders. For example, we’re currently working to upgrade our website, which will improve user experience and make it easier for our patients to access the information they need.
“Transformation projects of this scale come with a significant level of complexity. Having an integrated and effective project management system in place is vital for managing implementation and ensuring we have accurate and up to date information on our projects. This allows us to focus our time on decision making and delivery. Providing excellent patient experience and supporting our community are two of our core values, so partnering with Troupa, which is a local business, is a great fit for us.”
Tim Rawles, who leads the development of Troupa, said: “We’re really pleased to be working with the MSG and provide them with project management software to support their digital transformation. It’s always a privilege to work with other local businesses and in the case of the MSG, the software is helping the team there to deliver projects that will benefit the wider community, so that’s pretty special.”
