Mourant, an international professional services firm with law at its core, has maintained its team rankings in Chambers and Partners High Net Worth 2025, with 11 of the firm’s lawyers being awarded individual rankings in the guide.
The Chambers High Net Worth legal directory differentiates the best professional advisers for international private wealth by identifying and ranking law firms, lawyers and a range of other professional advisers globally.
Mourant’s latest legal rankings were awarded to teams in the firm’s Guernsey and Jersey offices, achieving a Band 2 and Band 1 ranking respectively in Offshore: Trusts.
Lawyers from across the firm’s British Virgin Islands (BVI), Guernsey, Jersey and London offices also achieved 12 individual rankings in the guide. This included four lawyers who entered the High Net Worth ranking tables for the first time this year.
Partner and Mourant Chair Jonathan Speck was awarded the prestigious ‘Star Individual’ accolade in both Jersey Offshore: Trusts and Jersey Offshore Trusts: Litigation. Ed Devenport (pictured), Global Practice Leader of the firm’s International Trusts and Private Client team, and Eleanor Morgan, BVI Managing Partner, also both achieved top tier Band 1 rankings.
Commenting on the firm’s success in the latest guide, Ed said: “It’s been another strong year for our teams, and these rankings are a clear reflection of our market-leading trusts and private wealth offering. I’d like to congratulate all colleagues who have been recognised for their exceptional work. I was especially pleased to see two of our talented young lawyers awarded ‘Up and Coming’ and ‘Associate to Watch’ individual rankings – a great endorsement of the next generation of talent in our firm.
“The client and intermediary testimonials featured in the guide speak volumes about the quality of our expertise and the high standard of service we consistently deliver, and I would like to thank everyone who took the time to participate in Chambers’ research.”
