Mourant has announced 29 promotions across its Guernsey and Jersey offices, including seven Counsel and five senior appointments in affiliated business, Mourant Governance Services.
Litigators Sandra Duerden, Rachel Guthrie and Louise Hargreaves in the Guernsey office and corporate and fund specialists James Daniel, Laura Dauny, John MacFeeters in Jersey and Alana Gillies in Guernsey have all been promoted to Counsel.
Eight Associates across the legal practice have been promoted to Senior Associate. In the Finance, Corporate and Funds practice groups, Andrew Grant in Guernsey together with Amy Wilson and Roisin Cullinane in Jersey became Senior Associates. Guernsey litigators Benjamin Manchak, Hana Plsek and Iona Mitchell, along with property specialist Carol Doherty and Luke Gingell in the International Trusts & Private Client team from the Jersey office, have also been promoted to Senior Associates.
In the Jersey Mourant Governance Services team, Christo Van Der Spuy and Michal Pawlica have been promoted to Director, Fiona Magee and Kalpana Piradeepan became Associate Directors and Scott Ashton has been promoted to Senior Manager.
Other Mourant Governance Services promotions in Jersey include: Tom McAlister who became Manager, Kasia Przybylska who has been promoted to Client Accountant, Ellie Ricou and Asen Stamboliyski who became Senior Administrators and Tom Brockwell who has been promoted to Corporate Administrator.
In the Business Services team, Joanne Attley in Jersey has been promoted to Head of Human Resources alongside Darren Maervoet who became Facilities Manager and Bianca Spencer-Burrowes in the Risk & Compliance team has been promoted to Assistant Manager. Sarah Haddow in the Guernsey office has been promoted to Senior Business Analyst.
