Joe Peacock from UBS Wealth Management in Jersey has completed the Chartered Institute of Investment and Securities (CISI) Private Client Investment Advice & Management (PCIAM) qualification and is now a Chartered Member.
Joe’s success follows on from that of colleague Stephen Coelho who passed PCIAM with top marks in the UK for 2021.
PCIAM enables practitioners to demonstrate a broad understanding of the principles of private client investment advice within the context of the current regulatory environment and structure a suitable portfolio, selecting from a range of financial products to meet client objectives.
Michael Clarke, Head of Private Clients at UBS Jersey confirmed: “We were really pleased to hear of Joe’s exam success. At UBS, we make sure that all our staff are given support to achieve their qualifications and it has been very rewarding to watch Joe’s progress.”
Joe commented: “I am really delighted to have passed this latest exam and am grateful to UBS for supporting me whilst I was studying. It is worth the effort that it takes to achieve these qualifications as the knowledge gained gives me invaluable insight that I can take to my clients.”
PCIAM is achieved by completing a recommended 200 hours of study and sitting a 3-hour written exam.
