Melville Douglas – a global boutique investment management firm within the Standard Bank Group – has been announced as a finalist in the prestigious PAM Awards. The company has been included in a shortlist of the 30 best asset managers, for what is regarded as the ‘Oscars’ of the UK wealth management industry.
The Awards celebrates the very best private asset managers, fund managers and stockbrokers across the UK, with firms judged on their consistency of investment performance and great level of client service. Hundreds of firms enter the Awards each year for what is considered one of the most sought-after accolades of the sector. Melville Douglas is one of only seven finalists who have a presence in Jersey.
Chris Stead, Melville Douglas Jersey-based Head of Portfolio Management, said: “We are delighted to have been named as a finalist for the PAM Awards as it is further evidence that our business model of focusing on service and people is valued by our international client base. We feel that our personal approach to each client’s individual investment needs is truly unique and continues to set us apart in a crowded marketplace. Our focus is to create long lasting relationships built on trust and performance, using our experience and investment expertise to help our clients meet their investment goals.”
PAM Award winners will be named at a gala dinner at The Dorchester Hotel in London tonight, 7 March.
