Cooper’s Coffee are joining in with Macmillan Jersey’s Get Together for Good events week by releasing a limited-edition blend of locally roasted coffee, with 50% of the sales going directly to the charity.
They’ll also be supporting the events week by wearing official t-shirts on Friday 24th September for Jersey’s Greatest Coffee Morning as well as selling coffee sacks (£3) from Cooper’s Castle Quay and Macmillan themed ‘Deborah’s Cakes and Cupcakes’ at Castle Quay, Grand Marché (St Helier) and Cooper’s @ IFC 5.
Last year the event raised over £26,000 which was instrumental in ensuring local cancer support services could continue into 2021 – but this year, with more opportunities to bring people together, the Macmillan Jersey team are hoping Islanders will come together to host further events and gatherings to support them.
Steph Gibaut – Head of Fundraising for Macmillan Jersey said “Their creativity in producing a special Macmillan Jersey coffee blend is incredible and we’re delighted to stock this at The Lounge – our charity book café on Burrard Street.”
David Warr – owner of Cooper’s Coffee said “We’re really proud to assist Macmillan Jersey to raise funds for and at the same time raise awareness of their charity. Their support is vital to many individuals and families impacted by cancer. We have created a unique coffee blend for Jersey’s greatest coffee morning and the ‘Get Together for Good’ week and we wish them every success.”
You can pick up your bag of the ‘Jersey’s Greatest Coffee Morning blend’ from any Cooper’s location or order online here.
