Claire White, Director of Governance & Care at Family Nursing & Home Care, has been appointed to the Lloyds Bank Foundation for the Channel Islands Board of Trustees.

Claire (pictured) is a registered nurse and experienced health and care leader with more than 25 years’ experience across clinical practice, healthcare regulation, governance, quality improvement, and strategic leadership. Throughout her career, Claire has held a range of clinical, regulatory and leadership roles, developing expertise in governance, risk management, organisational improvement, and partnership working. She is the Caldicott Guardian for FNHC and plays an active role in supporting high standards of accountability, transparency and quality across health and care services.

Claire’s skillset will be an invaluable asset to the Foundation as it continues its mission of funding, supporting, and championing charities in the Channel Islands that support people who are socially excluded and disadvantaged.

Discussing her appointment, Claire said: “Lloyds Bank Foundation plays a vital role in supporting charities and communities across the Channel Islands. Its commitment to helping organisations respond to local needs and create lasting positive impact makes a real difference. I am delighted to be joining the Board and look forward to supporting the Foundation’s work alongside fellow trustees and the team.”

In addition to her professional responsibilities, Claire contributes to Island-wide governance and community initiatives, serving on the States of Jersey Complaints Panel and Jersey’s Health and Care Partnership Board. She volunteers as Safeguarding Officer for the Jersey Rugby Club, supporting the welfare and protection of children and young people involved in sport. Alongside her clinical governance and safeguarding expertise, Claire brings extensive experience of governance, service quality, organisational leadership, alongside a strong commitment to supporting communities, reducing inequalities, and improving outcomes for islanders.

Philippa Stahelin, Chair of the Foundation, added: “We are delighted to welcome Claire to the Lloyds Bank Foundation’s Board of Trustees. Her appointment strengthens the Board’s collective skills and ensures we continue to have the knowledge and oversight required to support an increasingly professionalised charitable sector. We are delighted that she has chosen to join the Foundation, and we look forward to benefiting from her knowledge, experience, and passion as we continue our work across the Bailiwicks.”
