Communications consultancy Liquid has won in the category of top Medium Consultancy in the South West at this year’s Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) DARE Awards.
The esteemed industry awards seek to recognise the best PR and communications professionals across the UK and is judged by a panel of highly respected industry experts.
The South West virtual ceremony which took place last night, bestowed Liquid the title of best Medium Consultancy for its substantial growth increasing its public sector work by more than 400% and seeing revenues increase by 32% in 2019.
The award acknowledged Liquid’s efforts of matching new client wins with innovation, growth and staff investment; which included the launch of a new graduate training scheme and a brand-new food development kitchen.
At the awards Liquid was also recognised as the winner for the best Low Budget Campaign for its work with charity Transplant Sport and its flagship events the British and World Transplant Games.
The PR, design and marketing consultancy with offices in Jersey, Guernsey, Birmingham and London, was first appointed in 2018 by Games organisers MLS Contracts and Transplant Sport, to manage PR and communications around the Games hosted in Birmingham.
It has gone on to win a number of industry awards for its work with the charity including PRCA Midlands’ Charity/Not for Profit Award and the CIPR Midlands’ Best Healthcare Campaign. It has also been shortlisted in national awards including CIPR Excellence, PRCA National Awards and the PR moment.

This year Liquid ranked 4 th in the PR Week’s top consultancies for the public sector and had members of the team recognised at the PRCA City and Financial Awards, in the PR Week Top 30 under 30 and shortlisted for in the PR Apprenticeship Awards. Liquid was also crowned PRCA Workplace Champion.
There are further nominations in the pipeline with five categories of the PRCA DARE Awards: Midlands set to be announced on the 12th August and a nomination for the Best Small PR Consultancy at the Communicate Magazine Corporate and Financial Awards to be announced later in the year.
