Liberation Group is raising a glass to having scooped a prized accolade at this year’s Publican Awards.
The brewery and pub operator, with an estate stretching from Mayfair to St. Aubin in Jersey, beat Fuller, Smith and Turner in the grand final winning Best Managed Pub Company (+51 sites).
Considered to be the Oscars of the hospitality industry, this year’s awards, held at Evolution London and hosted by comedian Tom Allen, were fiercely contested with many of the UK’s best known pub operators fighting it out. For almost three decades the Publican Awards has recognised excellence in the pub and bar trade, celebrating the industry’s very best.
Jonathan Lawson, CEO, Liberation Group said: “To win Best Managed Pub Company at these prestigious awards is such an honour, especially against such stiff competition as Fullers.
“We’re passionate about what we do and are dedicated to providing our guests with the very best experience possible. This award pays testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone in the business who constantly go above and beyond, making Liberation Group the success it is. Thank you!”
Ed Bedington, Judge, The Publican Awards said: “Liberation Group once again demonstrates that they are leading the field when it comes to building a superb managed pub business.
“This is a team that is setting standards for other companies to follow and it’s great to be able to recognise the excellence they are delivering, day in, day out.”
