Liberation Group has joined forces with Caring Cooks of Jersey – a non-profit organisation dedicated to nurturing the health and well-being of Jersey’s families.
To celebrate the launch of Liberation Group’s new children’s menu, for every child’s meal sold in one of their Jersey sites during February Half Term, £1 will be donated to Caring Cooks.
All money raised will support Caring Cooks’ educational programmes in schools and in the community, such as their Weekly Meal Service for vulnerable families in Jersey.
Alice Bower, Director of Food at Liberation Group says: “Partnering with Caring Cooks is a reflection of our intrinsic values and our steadfast devotion to the community’s prosperity. We’re not merely a collection of venues; we are integral threads in the communal fabric. We’re passionate about giving back to the community and we look forward to making a lasting impact together.”
Liberation Group’s ‘Good Food for Little People’ menu has been curated by Jasper Prickett, Development Chef at Liberation Group and features a variety of dishes children are sure to love with salt and sugar levels kept to an absolute minimum. The beautifully designed menus were illustrated by Jasper’s partner and illustrator Malgosia Piatkowska and when opened out reveal games and illustrations for children to play and colour in.
Yvonne Corbin, CEO of Caring Cooks, warmly welcomes this collaboration, stating, “We are thrilled to partner with Liberation Group. Their support is invaluable, allowing us to further our commitment to offering nourishment and food education to our community’s children. This collaboration is a testament to what we can achieve together for the betterment of our society.”
