Business Eye CI, along with its affiliated media titles, has been bought in a joint venture by Jersey-based digital collective, Snap, and entrepreneur and private investor, Tim Bullock.
The group has acquired the flagship Business Eye CI, as well as Travel Eye CI, Wedding Eye CI and Legal Eye CI from Collaborate CI Limited, a Guernsey-based media and events company. The existing team of top-level journalists and sales personnel are being retained under the new deal.
Tim Bullock said that the change of ownership is a positive one.
“This is the beginning of a new era for this popular and much-respected online business and we are confident that this acquisition represents a perfect enhancement to our portfolio. We will introduce technology, innovation that will enhance the digital media platforms, and will drive the business forward whilst maintaining the culture already established,” he said.
Snap Is an 11-strong digital and creative organisation, leading the way with the innovative use of technology. Clients include: Digital Jersey, Kendrick Rose Recruitment, My VLF and Thompson Estates.
Collaborate CI Limited’s managing director, Julie Todd, who founded the Eye brand said:

The new ownership is effective from 1 June 2020.
