As Law At Work celebrates its 20th year in business, it has set up an initiative this year as part of its ongoing dedication to corporate social responsibility and community enrichment.
From planting trees to cover its paper use, to offering its own people time out for volunteering hours, it is also providing 200 hours of free advice and support to local charities.
This Charity initiative will hopefully provide some impact for the most valued service providers in our community, and Law At Work (LAW) will offer guidance on human resources, health and safety, data protection, customised in-house training, or wellbeing coaching for carers of the charity’s clients.
In addition to the 200 hours of free support, LAW is extending a discount on all services throughout the year to charities requiring ongoing support and assistance.
Kelly Flageul (pictured), Group Chair, said: “As we reflect on our journey from humble beginnings to our current success, we are deeply grateful for the support of this incredible island community. Our team is passionate about making a tangible difference in the lives of those who do so much for our community.”
Lorna Pestana, Group Executive Director, said: “We are thrilled to launch this initiative in support of local charities, recognising the vital role they play in our community, especially in light of our current economic outlook, as we know how hard it is for charities to pay for some services, given the reduction in support they receive. As a company deeply connected to Jersey’s community, we hope this imitative will empower organisations to continue their impactful work”.
