Law At Work (LAW) has announced its recent acquisition of ASL Recruitment (ASL).
LAW and ASL have joined forces to create a unified market leading proposition from which Island businesses can source all their human capital needs from start to end: from recruitment, induction and engagement, through to developing and safeguarding staff and managing change.
Completion officially occurred on 25 September 2019 and ASL have taken offices alongside LAW’s in Seale Street, St. Helier. The intention is for both businesses to continue to trade under their existing names but under the same roof thereby facilitating and enhancing services to employers and candidates alike.
“The business case for merging was very compelling,” said Kelly Flageul, LAW’s Managing Director: “LAW’s acquisition of ASL provides a major growth opportunity for both our businesses through an extended service offering for our respective clients. It also supports LAW’s strategy to lead the market and meet client requirements for a single provider to manage all their people.”
Tina Palmer, the long-standing lead of ASL Recruitment also commented:“Both LAW and ASL fundamentally subscribe to the human, personal touch when it comes to the employment relationship. Businesses are only ever as good as their staff and ASL will now be better placed to support them on their journey beyond recruitment.”
Both businesses will be able to service a broader range of industries, including finance, commercial, public sector, charities, construction, hospitality, retail and care providers.
LAW is a provider of outsourced Human Resources support, Health and Safety advice and Employment Tribunal representation to Channel Islands employers. It has focussed on servicing employers since 2004.
ASL Recruitment is a long-standing Jersey recruitment agency and training provider with over 40 years’ experience that provides comprehensive recruitment and training solutions for temporary, contract and permanent staff.
