KPMG in the Crown Dependencies has announced the promotion of David Alexander and Mark Ashburn to the position of Partner, with effect from 1 October 2024.
David Alexander (pictured) will be a Partner in the firm’s successful audit practice, bringing with him over 15 years of experience, having joined KPMG in 2009 and operating in a Director role since 2017. During this time, David has specialised in audits of private equity funds and alternative investment funds including London listed funds and leads the ESG Assurance offering for Guernsey.
Commenting on David’s promotion, Brian Bethell, Head of Audit at KPMG in the Crown Dependencies, said: “With over 15 years at KPMG, David has become a key leader of our audit team and as part of his new role David will lead the audit practice in Guernsey. Mark Ashburn’s KPMG career began in 2004, starting initially in audit before moving to the advisory team in 2008, where his work has focused on transaction services, primarily working on strategic deals for financial services clients. In his new role as Advisory Partner, Mark will also take on a broader role running the deals business for KPMG Islands Group.
