KPMG is celebrating fifty years of operating in Jersey.
Since its establishment in the island in 1973, KPMG has played an integral role in Jersey’s business and local community, providing innovative and value-added services to local and international clients across a wide range of sectors including financial services, real estate, technology, tourism, government and retail.
The firm has also supported hundreds of Jersey students to achieve professional qualifications and pursue their careers locally or further afield. Indeed, at present half of the KPMG Jersey leadership team trained with the firm locally, which is a testament to KPMG’s continued commitment to developing local talent and leaders.
Being involved in the local community has always been integral to the firm’s culture, and KPMG has done this in a number of ways over the last 50 years by sponsoring local community organisations (e.g. The Jersey Amateur Swimming Association and The Jersey Reds Minis & Juniors Programme) and through the firm’s volunteering programmes, such as its Make a Difference Days and Reading Programme with a local primary school.
Andrew Quinn (pictured), KPMG’s Managing Partner said: “We are thrilled to be celebrating 50 years of operating in Jersey. Our success over the past five decades is a testament to our commitment to delivering the highest quality services to our clients and our unwavering dedication to the local community.”
To mark this significant milestone, KPMG will be hosting a range of events and initiatives throughout the year. These include client and staff events and community outreach programmes, all aimed at celebrating the firm’s contribution to Jersey’s community over the past 50 years.
“KPMG in Jersey has always been committed to supporting the growth and development of the island’s economy, and we are honoured to have played a role in shaping Jersey’s landscape over the past five decades,” said Andrew. “We look forward to celebrating this milestone with our clients, colleagues, and the wider community and to continuing to build on our legacy for many years to come.”
