Julius Baer has appointed Alexandra McInnes as its new Head of Guernsey, replacing Stephen Burt, who is retiring after 18 years.
Mrs McInnes (pictured) has almost 20 years of experience in financial services, specialising in the banking industry. Her career spanned London, New York, and Bermuda before she returned to her home island of Guernsey in 2018, where she has been working for a Guernsey-headquartered international private wealth and corporate services provider as group chief operations and risk officer.
Julius Baer has had a presence in Guernsey for more than 30 years and moved into bespoke offices in Admiral Park in 2022. It has around 140 local staff and works closely with the group’s London operation as well as locations around the world to serve its local and global client base. Mrs McInnes will lead Julius Baer’s Guernsey management team to continue building on the group’s success in the island.
On her appointment, Mrs McInnes said: “I’m pleased to join the team at Julius Baer Guernsey.
