JTC’s international network of offices helped inject more than £250,000 into local community initiatives, projects and good causes over 2023.
The donations have been made as part of the Group’s flagship corporate social responsibility programme.
Bringing together charitable donations and community sponsorships – as well as individual and collective fundraising initiatives – the ‘JTC Gives’ programme aims to empower teams around the world to help make a meaningful impact in the locations where it operates.
In 2023, the combined hard work of JTC’s global network meant that the company sponsored, raised, and donated a total of £255,417 to good causes through JTC Gives.
As part of the programme, employees from across 20+ jurisdictions organised and hosted a broad range of fundraising activities and events over the year, ultimately helping to support 88 different charities and local community initiatives across Europe, the Americas, the Caribbean, Africa and Asia.
Some of the standout events and activities undertaken included:
- Getting active by taking part in Walk All Over Cancer
- Supporting the Foodbank of Delaware
- Helping to fight breast cancer through Think Pink in Luxembourg
- A beach clean-up in Cape Town
- Featuring in Amsterdam’s Marathon for KWF Cancer Society
- Hosting an innovative charity Re-Style Shop in Jersey
- Attempting the Peak in a Week Challenge in aid of the Love Beth – Bone Cancer Research Trust
- The Isle of Man’s Lighthouses Challenge in aid of Cruse Bereavement
- The London and Fareham teams facing off in a Tough Mudder event for MIND and Dementia UK
- An inspiring charity beach run in Edinburgh in aid of The Joshua Nolan Foundation
- Volunteering for San Jose’s City Team Kitchen
- Making some thoughtful charity gift bags in Mauritius to support the Muscular Dystrophy Association
