JGA has announced the promotion of Miles Pengelley from Associate Director to Director.
Miles (pictured) has been with JGA for nine years, during which time he has played a key role in the successful delivery of a wide range of projects across the residential, commercial, and public sectors. He is a Chartered Architectural Technologist (MCIAT) and also serves as Regional Councillor and Regional Secretary for the CIAT Channel Islands Region, alongside JGA Director James Gavey, and Chartered Architectural Technologist Dan Tibbs.
“This promotion acknowledges my contributions to the business, and I’m incredibly grateful for that recognition,” said Miles.
“I’m excited to take on this new role and continue to uphold the high standards we set in the studio, push boundaries in design detail, and represent JGA with professionalism and pride.”
Miles is passionate about quality design and technical excellence. In 2018, he was named Aspiring Star of the Construction Industry at the Guernsey Construction and Property Awards – a milestone that marked an early highlight in his career. He views every completed project as a proud achievement and a chance to reflect, learn, and improve.
Outside the studio, Miles enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, and is a keen all-round sports enthusiast.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Miles to the leadership team,” said James.
“His promotion is a reflection of his ongoing commitment, his contribution to the wider construction industry, and the respect he’s earned from colleagues, clients, and consultants alike.”
