The White Horse Pub, managed by Liberation Pubs & Bars (part of the Liberation Group) has reopened following an extensive refurbishment inside and out.
Located on the beach at Le Dicq, St Saviour and commanding some of the most spectacular views on the island, The White Horse Pub has been completely remodelled. Visitors will be greeted by brand-new alfresco drinking and dining areas with views across the sea.
Inside, the glazed sunroom has been opened up into the dining area, flooding the space with light and tremendous sea views to customers. Reclaimed wood and painted panelled walls in hues of pinks, blues and gold and tiled detail create a subtle nautical vibe. Shell-inspired wall lights, lamps made from seagrass and wood and chandeliers of rope and steel light the space and beach themed artwork adorns the walls. A selection of high and low tables and bespoke built-in upholstered seating create a variety of elegant and cosy drinking and dining areas.
Jayson Perfect, Group Managing Director, Pubs & Inns, Liberation Group says: “The pub looks incredible, inside and out. It’s quite a transformation and we’ve really gone to town outside maximising our incredible sea views. We’re looking forward to showing off what we’ve done and to welcoming guests and locals back once again to this beautiful part of Jersey.”
The White Horse’s menu will focus on local seafood such as oysters, calamari, Asian fish tacos, local scallops and roasted skate wing, available alongside hearty pub classics and family favourites. The bar stocks a great selection of wine and cocktails and a wide range of craft beer, real ale and cider from Liberation’s brewery. A new daily brunch offering is now available serving smoothies and bowls, eggs cooked various ways, bacon sandwiches, avocado toast, American pancakes and, of course, an excellent full Jersey cooked breakfast.
The White Horse team has been busy organising a variety of events taking place over the summer, including Ibiza DJ nights and supper clubs.
