Jersey has been named ‘Best International Finance Centre’ at the Annual WealthBriefing European Awards 2024.
The awards, now in their twelfth year, commend companies, teams and individuals across a broad range of financial services in the private banking, wealth management and trusted adviser sectors.
The winners were selected by a panel of judges – each an expert in their field – and announced at a gala dinner in London, with Robert Moore, Director – UK at Jersey Finance, accepting the award.
In addition, a number of firms with Jersey operations were also recognised for their expert financial services provision at the ceremony.
Commenting on the win, Joe Moynihan (pictured), CEO, Jersey Finance said: “For more than 60 years, Jersey has cultivated a reputation built on offering service excellence and stability combined with a forward-thinking, innovative mindset that is capable of keeping pace in a rapidly evolving financial services environment. Such an approach means that today we have an impressive global reach that enables us to support the wealth management ambitions of a broad range of private clients and families, and I’m delighted to see that recognised with this latest award win.”
Stephen Harris, ClearView Financial Media’s CEO and publisher of WealthBriefing, added: “Every winning entrant has been subjected to a rigorous and independent judging process and should be rightly proud of the success they have achieved this year. These awards give organisations and individuals the opportunity to clarify their strategic thinking, have it independently validated, be recognised internally and externally, and to celebrate in style with their peers. I offer my congratulations to all our winners.”
