Jersey has been named ‘Best International Finance Centre at the Annual WealthBriefing European Awards 2023.
The award reflects the jurisdiction’s growing international reach and its reputation as a centre at the heart of Europe supporting the global ambitions of investors.
Designed to showcase ‘best of breed’ providers in the European private banking, wealth management and trusted adviser communities, the Awards, which are now in their eleventh year, recognise companies, teams and individuals across a broad range of disciplines and service lines.
The winners were selected by a panel of expert judges and were announced at a gala dinner on 30th March in London, with Robert Moore (pictured), Director – UK at Jersey Finance, accepting the Award. A number of firms with Jersey operations were also successful in various categories.
Commenting on the win, Joe Moynihan, CEO, Jersey Finance said: “This award win is timely for us as an IFC, having recently marked our official launch in Singapore as part of our new South-East Asia strategy and as we continue to strengthen our visibility across the Middle East, Africa and Americas. This latest recognition follows Jersey’s success in winning the equivalent category in the WealthBriefing MENA Awards towards the end of 2022.
