Jersey Water is asking for Islanders’ views on its current and future services in an Island-wide public consultation to help shape the company’s strategic planning.
The water utility’s survey is now live and seeks feedback from both customers and non-customers to inform Jersey Water’s future plans and priorities.
Focusing on Jersey Water’s present and future performance and the needs of the community, the consultation aims to develop a clear picture of the public’s perception and what Islanders want the utility to prioritise over the coming years.
Helier Smith (pictured), Chief Executive Officer, Jersey Water said: “We regularly survey our customers to make sure we are continually delivering high-quality water and services. This latest consultation is intentionally wider to capture the views of Islanders who may not be our customers. Gathering Islanders’ views across a spectrum of topics will be invaluable for ensuring our services and meeting the evolving and long-term needs of our community.
“This research will help us put our customers’ needs at the heart of everything we do and refine our business planning that will not only prioritise securing a reliable high-quality water supply but also advance our commitment to sustainability. We firmly believe that, by engaging the public in our planning process, we will build a better future for Jersey Water, our customers and the Island we serve.”
