A new app, LassWho?, that connects fans with their heroes and inspirational people for video-chats has been launched by Jersey entrepreneur Dean Morrison.

Available in the App Store and Google Play Store, the LassWho? App offers fans the opportunity to arrange a bespoke conversation with their heroes in a matter of minutes.

LassWho? launch heroes include a number of current and former world class cricket and rugby stars such as Simon Jones, Daren Sammy, Ben Cutting, Charlotte Edwards, Mike Phillips, Gavin Robertson, Danny Morrison and Ryan Harris.

LassWho? is the brainchild of Founder and CEO Dean Morrison (pictured) who started hosting live video conferencing calls for members of his local cricket club during the Covid lockdown. Tapping into Dean’s extensive network he organised calls with sports stars from around the world. The success of these experiences ignited the development of LassWho?, as Dean sought to offer similar experiences to sports fans around the world.

LassWho? creates an environment where fans can enjoy a bespoke, intimate or group experience through meeting their heroes ‘face to face’. This experience affords fans the opportunity to ask the questions they always wanted to ask, gain insights, receive tips, advice or mentoring and hear first-hand the inspirational stories of challenges overcome on the journey to the pinnacle of their profession.

The key to LassWho? is its simplicity – 5 easy steps, resulting in a seamless journey to connecting fans with their heroes. LassWho? features a tiered fee structure, defined by the hero depending on their profile, experience and the impact they made throughout their career. Initial target markets are the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Singapore, with plans already in motion for expansion into further markets.

LassWho? will launch with an impressive line up of cricketers and rugby players, including world class stars such as current England one-day captain, Eoin Morgan, former captains of New Zealand, South Africa, Australia and the West Indies. New sports and categories are already in the pipeline and planned for release in the coming months.

Dean Morrison, Founder and CEO, said: “I wanted to create a fan experience that was previously unimaginable – quality moments, moments of laughter and inspiration. The foundations were set to create a process that involved ultimate simplicity and maximum experience – Search & Identify, Book, Set Agenda, Host and Rate.

“Everyone at LassWho? is excited about the launch. It has been an incredible journey resulting in the release of a world class App and digital platform. LassWho? is set to disrupt the market.”
