Tim Ringsdore, Chief Executive of The Jersey Competition Regulatory Authority (JCRA) will join a prestigious line up of panellists at the International Institute of Communications’ annual Latin America and Caribbean Telecom and Media Forum.
Now in its ninth year, regulators, policy makers and industry representatives will gather in mid-May to discuss the challenges and opportunities posed by digital transformation. As members of the Small Nations’ Regulators Forum (SNRF), it will be an opportunity to share experience and shape discussions on regulatory, competition, social and economic considerations posed by the latest communication developments.
Tim Ringsdore, CEO of the JCRA comments, “I am proud to be invited to speak at the Institute of International Communications event alongside such eminent industry professionals from around the world. It’s an opportunity to raise awareness of our Island internationally and share how we are supporting competition, the economy, and the Government of Jersey’s strategic aims.
“It is also a chance to learn from regulators from small nations on how they are approaching similar issues we face. It’s essential that the JCRA continues to develop our approach so that we can continue to deliver for Islanders.”
The International Institute of Communications’ annual Latin America and Caribbean Telecom and Media Forum is on 18th May 2022 in Miami. It takes places in conjunction with other International Institute of Communications events including the Regional Regulators Forum and Small Nations’ Regulators Forum.
