Jersey Community Foundation has been awarded official quality accreditation by UK Community Foundations.
The award recognises Jersey Community Foundation’s commitment to robust governance, effective grant-making and financial transparency.
The accreditation, which is valid for three years, is awarded following a rigorous external assessment process and is designed to provide assurance to donors, partners and the wider public that community foundations operate to the highest standards of quality and professionalism.
Jersey Community Foundation (JCF) now joins a network of over 47 accredited community foundations across the British Isles, further strengthening its ability to attract national and international philanthropic partnerships and to share best practice across the sector.
Anna Terry (pictured), CEO of Jersey Community Foundation, said: “We’re incredibly proud to receive this accreditation from UKCF. It reflects the hard work and dedication of our team and Board over the past five years to build a trusted, professional and impactful organisation.
“For our donors, it offers reassurance that their giving is being managed with care and integrity. And for the charities and community groups we support, it underlines our ongoing commitment to delivering fair, transparent and evidence-based funding that meets real needs in Jersey.”
