The Board of Jersey Business has announced the appointment of Paul Murphy as a director and Chief Executive Officer of the company. Paul will take up the position in February 2023.
Paul ‘s career spans over 30 years in sectors including retail, distribution and the motor industry and evolved into a global leadership role in the technology environment. He first started working in Jersey in 2006 when he moved to the Island to become the Managing Director at BlahDVD. He has been the CEO of Onogo since 2019, developing the company into one of Amazon’s top 1% global sellers. Investing in culture, technology and logistics has enabled Onogo’s Jersey team to retail on a global scale. Mr Murphy is the 2022 winner of the IOD’s Director of the Year of a Large Business.
Commenting on his appointment, Paul said: “I am very excited about joining Jersey Business. Having worked with a number of the team over the past few years, I have experienced their support first hand and recognise how professional, knowledgeable, and collaborative the entire organisation is.
