The IoD Jersey Director of the Year Awards shortlist has been announced with a stellar line-up of the island’s most inspiring and successful leaders.
Sponsored by Appleby Jersey, the awards feature ten categories from small and family organisations, directors who excel in equality, diversity, and inclusion, to large business leaders.
Chair of the judges, Kevin Keen (pictured), said this year saw a significant number of top quality entries: “Every year it’s a difficult decision to choose which of our hard-working and inspiring leaders should make the shortlist, but myself and my fellow judges were incredibly impressed with the calibre of entries.
“This is a list that showcases just how strong the leadership is within our organisations across the sectors. Congratulations to the shortlisted nominees, and to all those who were nominated by colleagues and peers who wanted to recognise the contribution they make to their organisations.”
Mr Keen was joined on the judging panel by: Kate Nutt, Lisa Springate, Paul Murphy, Lee Bosio, Heather MacCallum, and Andrew Le Gallais.
IoD Jersey chair, Natasha Egré, said: “Our grateful thanks go to Kevin and all the judges, as well as all those who put forward a nominee, for bringing us this fantastic shortlist for the Awards. The breadth of industries represented is a pleasure to see. Congratulations to everyone; my fellow committee members and I are looking forward to celebrating the best of our leaders at the gala awards dinner in October.”
This year, the black-tie gala awards ceremony will be bigger than ever after repeatedly selling out of tickets for the prestigious annual event. The dinner is being held on Thursday 19th October at the RJH&S. Further information about the event can be found here.
